· The purpose of the channel is to inform everyone about the latest sports news. This isn’t a podcast made for anyone but if your into sports you will enjoy this podcast. We talk about sports ranging from the NFL all the way to the MLB.

Script for first show: What is up everybody and welcome to the first episode of the Rivera Sports Podcast, I am your host Ove Rivera III and today I plan on talking everything sports, from the Playoffs for the NBA, MLB, and the NHL. I will also talk early season for the NFL and Collegiate Football. I Will also talk about the Best fantasy players you should pick up or trade for to see you win your league later this year.
First lets talk the NBA, The last game of the finals was just played between the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers, the Lakers won 106–93 in game six to take the series four to two and walk away with the Larry O’Brien Trophy and the record tying 17th championship for the Los Angeles Lakers which puts them in a dead lock with the Boston Celtics for most championships in franchise history.
Now lets shift our focus onto the NHL Playoffs and I will say it was a fun ride. The Tampa Bay Lightning won in game six of the finals on a score of 2 to nothing against the Dallas Stars. The lightning haven’t lifted the cup in over a decade as their last win was the year before the NHL lockout in 2005.
Now lets move over to the MLB. We just determined the teams we will see in the world series and they are the Tampa Bay Rays and the Los Angeles Dodgers. On Saturday the 17 of October the Rays beat the Astros in game 7 to make it to the world series and then the next day the dodgers punched their ticket to the show with their victory over the Braves. I want to note that whichever team wins this series will be bringing their city back a second championship in the same year as the Lakers just won the NBA finals and The Tamps bay lightning just brought the Stanley cup home to Tampa so well see what city will be a double champ within the coming weeks.
Now onto the NFL I personally am a Dallas cowboys fan and Tonight on Monday night football the Dallas Cowboys will be facing the Arizona Cardinals, it should be a pretty good game to watch. And the featured game on Sunday night football yesterday was the Los Angeles Rams vs the San Francisco 49ners with the 49ners winning on a score of 24 to 16.
Now lets get into the best point scorers for fantasy football this year. I will give you a top 5 for this year in my opinion. Number one is Saquon Barkley he’s a monster on the field and that leads to a lot of fantasy points. Next is another running back in Ezekiel Elliott. He’s Just waiting for his time to shine and when it comes its going to be a big one. Next im Putting Patrick Mahomes as he is currently the best quarterback in the league easily in my opinion the only other quarterback that was close to his level is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady but I believe he is past his prime now and it’s the twilight years of his career. Next I’m going to use my last two spots on two wide receivers that can be interchanged with each other for four and five. At four and five I have Atlanta’s Julio Jones and New Orleans’ Michael Thomas. These two are scoring machines and making a decision between these two isn’t easy but I don’t think you can go wrong with either decision in the end.
Now last but not least lets talk the biggest game this week from College Football. We have on one side the Alabama Crimson Tide vs the Georgia Bulldogs and I personally expected a better game than this as we see the Crimson tide win this one on a score of 41 to 24.
